Breast Friends took silver in the Breast Cancer Championship with a time of  2:39.52 and 6th in the Recreation B final with a time of 2:49.14

ATB Lethbridge Rotary Dragon Boat Festival in Lethbridge, AB – June 24-26, 2011

Save-On Foods Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival in Nanaimo, BC – July 8-10, 2011

Breast Friends won gold in the Breast Cancer Survivors Race with a time of 2:35.63 in a field of 10 survivor teams.  We also placed 4th in the Women’s Division Jade A category with a time of 2:37.62.

Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival in Edmonton, AB – August 19-21, 2011

Breast Friends fielded two and a half crews at the Edmonton festival: Breast Friends Titans, Breast Friends Juggernauts, and half of the Friendship crew, which also included paddlers from the survivor teams in Saskatoon and Medicine Hat.  And we welcomed a crew from Calgary Sistership as well.  The Breast Friends Pink Ribbon Challenge was won by Breast Friends Titans, followed by Breaks Friends Juggernauts, Friendship and Calgary Sistership.  It was a great race!

Raymond James Penticton Dragon Boat Festival in Penticton, BC – September 9-11, 2011

Breast Friends came in first in the Dale Charles Memorial Breast Cancer Challenge with a time of 2:31.42.  We also came in 13th out of 43 women’s teams in the Women’s Diamond A final with a time of 2:30.34
